The A-LINE BODO is an aluminium railing system featuring vertical pickets (20×20 mm) mounted on horizontal aluminium profiles (34×29 mm).  The railing is assembled to the 46x46mm posts. Bodo railing is side-, top- or  parapet-mounted to the structure, offering a clean and modern appearance while maintaining excellent strength and durability.

All aluminium components are powder-coated for long-lasting corrosion protection. The system is ideal for balconies, terraces, and public areas where both safety and design are essential.

Parabet-mounted railing

  • Base structure: Concrete or timber

  • Minimum concrete class: C25/30 (EN 206)

  • Minimum concrete thickness: 180 mm

  • Minimum concrete structure height:  350mm
  • Anchor type: Hilti HSA-R M12 (For fastening to concrete)

  • Minimum timber structure height: 180 mm

  • Timber structure thickness: 90 mm

  • Timber fixing set: Rothoblaas TBS EVO (For fastening to timber)

  • Post bending resistance: Rd = 2.5 kNm

  • Maximum line load (handrail): Qk = 1.0 kN/m (calculated for 1.2 m height according to NS 3510)

The railing system arrives in wooden pallet designed specifically for safe transportation. Each component is individually secured and separated  to minimize movement and protect against damage during shipping. Proper securing of all packages during transport is essential to prevent load shifting and potential harm to the products.

We recommend inspecting all packages upon arrival and following proper installation procedures to ensure the components remain intact and functional.
